Valentine Party Inspo

February 02, 2018

February is the month of love.

If you’re married or dating, you’ll be celebrating the special someone in your life. And if you’re single, I hope you find ways to celebrate the friendships that fill your life with happiness!

Whatever your relationship status, Valentine’s Day is a great excuse to throw a party! You can:

  • invite your gal pals over for lunch or a Galentine’s Day Party,
  • host a few couples from your church or community,
  • have a church fundraising dinner by selling tickets and providing childcare,
  • share the message of love with your kiddos by having a party for them and their friends,
  • or plan a romantic party for two with all the fun decor and dinner at home.

However you choose to celebrate the Valentine season, I know you’ll enjoy these Valentine party ideas.

Decor

Every party deserves to be all dressed up! There are so many easy and affordable ways to decorate, and I’ve found some fun ideas! Every party needs some garland, like this Valentine’s Day Tassel Garland – Spritz at Target for $5.

Or this DIY Felt Heart Garland from Made Everyday.

This DIY XOXO Painted Table Cloth is adorable and can also be done with a plastic tablecloth and acrylic paint.

You can’t go wrong with fresh flowers! These free printable flower bouquets would be beautiful on a table and double as favors for your guests! Trader Joes is always a great place to buy fresh flowers.

Food

It’s not a party if there’s no food . . . right?!

Valentine-themed appetizers, drinks, and desserts are a fun addition to whatever you serve as the main course.

Appetizers like these Caprese Love Bites and Heart Shaped Sandwiches will look adorable on your table and are easy to make!

A strawberry float, like this one from Frugal Coupon Living, sounds amazing and is the perfect beverage for Valentine’s Day!

Sweet treats, like these Donut & Fruit Kababs from Domestic Fashionista and Chocolate Dipped Wafer Cookies from The Idea Room, are sure to delight the party-goers!

And how yummy do these M&M Valentine’s Day Cookie Bars by No. 2 Pencil look?? So good!

Games

Target’s dollar bins never disappoint when it comes to decor, gifts, and holiday-themed items. I found this party game for $1! It’s perfect for a Galentine party!

The Outfit

Every hostess needs a beautiful dress. These lovely floral dresses, She Walks In Beautythe Carrington Dress, are just what a Valentine’s Day party needs!

Do you host a Valentine or Galentine Party every year? Are you planning a party this year? What are some of your go-to decor, food, and game ideas? We’d love to hear from you in the comments!
