It’s no secret that I really like black dresses. Fancy black dresses, black t-shirt dresses, little black dresses, basically all black dresses of every shape and fabric and just everythingggg.
It’s also not a secret that brunch is my favorite meal. It’s just perfect!
So when I had the opportunity to attend a bridal shower brunch with instructions to wear my little black dress, there were no complaints from me!
I had originally planned on wearing a black chiffon dress and strappy sandals, but the weather didn’t cooperate so I had to dress a bit warmer than I had anticipated. I decided to do the dressy-up thing all while keeping it simple and not too over-the-top for my Saturday brunch outfit. I decided to wear my black tutu skirt from Sweet Pea and Buttercup (because why not?!) along with a basic black t-shirt, my favorite black pointed-toe kitten heels, and gold accessories.
I loved the perfectly ballerina-esque feel of my tutu — at the same time feeling very Audrey Hepburn and classic in all black.
