Meet the Team

Charity Walter is the designer extraordinaire and owner of Dainty Jewell’s Modest Apparel. She originally began embellishing and upcycling garments as a means to expand her own wardrobe. After inspiring friends and acquaintances with her unique creations, the idea of a company dedicated to providing affordable, modest clothing to women of all ages was born. In an effort to reach even more women with the message of modesty, Charity decided to start a blog under the Dainty Jewell’s brand.

Originally from North Carolina, Charity now lives on the West Coast with her husband, Jess. They actively serve in youth ministry, music, and various other capacities within their local church.

In her personal life, Charity incorporates her love for design into many areas. From designing her own wedding gown to beautifully decorating her new home in Oregon, Charity is keeping the creative juices flowing and enjoying life to its fullest.

  • We adore this quote we saw recently! It's been said that our generation tends to glorify our issues. We do little good by spreading negativity; let's be the generation that magnifies God rather than our problems. God longs to be the always-present Friend we turn to with all our hurts, anger, pain, and frustrations.❤ "Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved" (Psalm 55:22).
  • Today is National Cocoa Day, and we're celebrating with a yummy recipe for homemade hot chocolate! Whip up this recipe as a cute Christmas gift for family and friends, or just sit down and enjoy a cup yourself! Get @denishakarme’s recipe at the link in our profile -- and enjoy! ❤
  • "And whosoever of you will be the chiefest, shall be servant of all. For even the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many" (Mark 10:44-45). ❤
  • Are you hostessing this holiday season? Make sure you check out @anyssa.hessler’s tablescape decor inspo on the blog today! Super-cute ideas at the link in our profile. ❤️
  • "Good sense makes one slow to anger, and it is his glory to overlook an offense" (Proverbs 19:11). We live in a culture that feels entitled to everything -- even to feeling offended! But being easily offended is not the way of Christ.

Overlooking an offense isn't the same as pretending the offense didn't happen or encouraging injustice. It's a decision to let go, a form of forgiveness. It's a way of reflecting the heart of Christ. ❤
