Meet the Team
Nichole Criss is CoFounder, Editor in Chief, and Blog Manager of She’s Intentional. Nichole holds an MA in Worship Studies & Christian Leadership (Apostolic School of Theology) and a BA in Music (Kent State University). She resides in Canton, Ohio, and is the music director at The Congregation of Praise, a home missions church pastored by her father.
Nichole is an award-winning professional pianist, collaborative artist, music instructor, entrepreneur, freelance writer, and public speaker. She is the founder, owner, and director of The Piano Studio, a classical music school in Uniontown, Ohio.
She is passionate about touching young women’s lives through the power of words and music to help them find purpose in life through complete wholeness in Jesus.
Nichole enjoys frequenting locally owned coffee shops, traveling around the world, visiting art museums, and living an intentional life dedicated to pursuing Jesus and His calling.

Charity Hall is Co-Founder and Assistant Editor of She’s Intentional: The Dainty Jewell’s Blog and oversees the Instagram and Pinterest accounts of She’s Intentional. She was raised in a pastor’s home and currently resides in Northern California. She is a life-long learner, holding an MA in Human Services, Executive Leadership (Liberty University), BS in Business Administration, Accounting (CSU East Bay), and a BA in Music & Worship Leadership, Vocal Performance (Patten University).
Charity is a “renaissance girl” working in the world of business and finance by day, pursuing multiple avenues of creative + technical interests including but not limited to: music, photography, writing, mentoring entrepreneurship, and ethics in her spare time, as well as being active in her local church. Charity is also an adjunct professor at Apostolic School of Theology.
She is passionate about loving people and living a lifestyle of intentional worship to the King.

Charity Walter is the designer extraordinaire and owner of Dainty Jewell’s modest apparel company. She originally began embellishing and upcycling garments as a means to expand her own wardrobe, but after inspiring friends and acquaintances with her unique creations, the idea of a company dedicated to providing affordable, modest clothing to women of all ages was born. In an effort to reach even more young women while promoting modesty, the idea of Dainty Jewell’s expanding into the blog world was born.
Originally from North Carolina, Charity now lives on the West Coast with her husband where they are actively involved in youth activities, music, and ministries in their local church.
In her personal life, Charity continues to incorporate her love for design in many areas. From designing her own wedding gown to beautifully decorating her new home in Oregon, Charity is thoroughly enjoying life at its fullest.
Brittani Scott lives in Seattle, Washington where she and her husband, Ryan Scott, are planting a church downtown. Brittani is passionate about music ministry and equipping others for success in ministry. She is honored to lead worship at the Refuge every Sunday, direct the Washington All-State Youth Choir, and teach piano to a group of amazing students.
Brittani released her debut single, I Will Walk This Road, in August 2014. She’s been writing songs since she was eleven and is pursuing a songwriting career.
Brittani attended Texas Bible College, where she studied music, and will graduate from Liberty University with her Bachelors of Science in Psychology, Crisis Counseling.
Her other interests include reading, graphic design, blogging, and Hollister (their Yorkie). Brittani and her husband are hoping to grow their family through adoption and she’s excited to see how God continues to write her their love story.
Kimberly Cervantes is a twenty-two-year-old in love with Jesus, traveling, and life.
Kimberly is actively involved in both the Spanish and English churches at World of Pentecost in Burlington, North Carolina, where she is a youth team leader, praise singer, choir member, Sunday School teacher, van route driver, and Bible Quizzing coach.
She is in the process of finishing her Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology and works full-time as a lab tech for a medical device company.
Courtney Toliver is a fashion and beauty blogger from Tulsa, Oklahoma. She is currently a student at Tulsa Community College where she is pursuing a degree in business. She aspires to become an esthetician and to one day develop an all-natural skin care line.
Her passions include traveling, singing in church, and (of course!) shopping. She also loves reading, learning about different cultures, and spending time with her family. Courtney loves to meet new people and her main goals in life are to have a servant’s heart, and most of all, to be in God’s will in all that she does.
Anyssa Hessler lives in Plymouth, Indiana where she works as a marketing analyst and serves as youth leader along with her husband Alec at The House of Prayer.
Anyssa enjoys making a mess in the kitchen, wandering new cities and treasure-hunting in thrift stores. When she isn’t in the kitchen, she can be found in a local hole-in-the-wall café with a hot mocha and good book.
As a lifestyle blogger, Anyssa has made it her mission to encourage creativity and originality in all aspects of life. With the help of the Lord, she hopes to spark the recognition of self-worth and capability of women through her writing.

Brooklyn Scott is originally from North Little Rock, Arkansas but now lives in Sacramento, California with her husband and miracle baby, Finley Cash.
Brooklyn holds an Associates of Arts degree and recorded a music album in 2013. She enjoys church, singing, thrifting, and spending quality time with family.
Her ultimate goal is to please God and to be the best that she can be at whatever she does while being an inspiration and light to everyone around her.

Leah Pfohl grew up in Durham, North Carolina, but currently resides in Tampa, Florida with her family. She moved to Florida when she was 18 along with her father to start a home missions church, and eventually their entire family followed suit. She is the worship leader and musician, sunday school teacher, and helps wherever she is needed.
Leah’s passions include music, fitness, a good book, and a hot cup of coffee with a friend (maybe add in a few puppies as well!). She enjoys the outdoors and time well spent with loved ones.
As a fitness and wellness blogger, Leah has made it her goal to help women of all ages across the country attain not only a healthy body, but also a healthy mind. Her passion is to help women to become healthy spiritually, physically, and mentally.
