Meet the Team
Nichole Criss is a CoFounder, the Editor in Chief and Blog Manager of She’s Intentional. Nichole holds an MA in Worship Studies & Christian Leadership (Apostolic School of Theology) and a BA in Music (Kent State University). She currently resides in North Canton, Ohio and is the music director at The Congregation of Praise, a home missions church pastored by her father.
Nichole is an award-winning professional pianist, collaborative artist, music instructor, entrepreneur, freelance writer and public speaker. She is the founder and director of The Piano Studio where teaches over sixty private piano + voice lessons each week. Her debut single “Restore Me” was released on iTunes in July 2015. Her passion is to reach young women through the power of inspirational words and music in order to find their purpose in life through complete wholeness in Jesus while being an advocate for victims of human trafficking and domestic violence.
She loves locally owned coffee shops, travel to far-away-places, wearing black dresses, is a bit of a foodie and bookworm, and a collector of snail mail.
Charity Hall is a Co-Founder and Assistant Editor of She’s Intentional: The Dainty Jewell’s Blog and oversees the Instagram and Pinterest accounts of She’s Intentional. She was raised in a pastor’s home and currently resides in the San Francisco Bay Area of California. She is a life-long learner, holding an MA in Human Services, Executive Leadership (Liberty University), BS in Business Administration, Accounting (CSU East Bay), and a BA in Music & Worship Leadership, Vocal Performance (Patten University).
Charity works in the world of business and finance by day, pursuing creative interests of music, photography, and writing, and technical ones of entrepreneurship, mentoring and ethics in the evenings. She serves in her local church as a worship leader and also as leader of the College and Career Ministry. Charity is an adjunct professor at Apostolic School of Theology. Her desire is to serve churches in the area of financial counseling and strategic planning.
She is passionate about loving people and living a lifestyle of intentional worship to the King.

Charity Walter is the designer extraordinaire and owner of Dainty Jewell’s modest apparel company. She originally began embellishing and upcycling garments as a means to expand her own wardrobe, but after inspiring friends and acquaintances with her unique creations, the idea of a company dedicated to providing affordable, modest clothing to women of all ages was born. In an effort to reach even more young women while promoting modesty, the idea of Dainty Jewell’s expanding into the blog world was born.
Originally from North Carolina, Charity now lives on the West Coast with her husband where they are actively involved in youth activities, music, and ministries in their local church.
In her personal life, Charity continues to incorporate her love for design in many areas. From designing her own wedding gown to beautifully decorating her new home in Oregon, Charity is thoroughly enjoying life at its fullest.
Jennifer Smith is an assistant pastor’s wife and music director from Marble Falls, TX. She is an alum of Gateway College of Evangelism and Texas Bible College. She is married to her best friend Josh and mother to her son.
Jennifer is the assistant to the editor of She’s Intentional and oversees the Facebook account of the blog, as well as overseeing all social media aspects of Dainty Jewells. She enjoys writing and has had short stories published in children’s magazines and has won several short-story contests. Jennifer writes curriculum for Link 247 and P7 Bible Clubs, writes for several websites including her personal blog.
In addition to writing, Jennifer loves reading, music, shopping, walking, and Adventures in Odyssey!
Ashley Moss is from San Antonio, Texas where she and her husband and two little boys attend Calvary Church. Ashley is a youth pastor’s wife to a wonderful group of teenagers and currently leads the youth band.
Ashley earned a Bachelor’s degree in English in 2008, but currently has the pleasure of being a stay-at-home-mom with her two small boys.
When Ashley is not with her family, she enjoys spending time writing, reading, cooking, taking photographs, and blogging.
Brittani Scott lives in Seattle, Washington where she and her husband, Ryan Scott, are planting a church downtown. Brittani is passionate about music ministry and equipping others for success in ministry. She is honored to lead worship at the Refuge every Sunday, direct the Washington All-State Youth Choir, and teach piano to a group of amazing students.
Brittani released her debut single, I Will Walk This Road, in August 2014. She’s been writing songs since she was eleven and is pursuing a songwriting career.
Brittani attended Texas Bible College, where she studied music, and will graduate from Liberty University with her Bachelors of Science in Psychology, Crisis Counseling.
Her other interests include reading, graphic design, blogging, and Hollister (their Yorkie). Brittani and her husband are hoping to grow their family through adoption and she’s excited to see how God continues to write her their love story.
Kimberly Cervantes is a twenty-two-year-old in love with Jesus, traveling, and life.
Kimberly is actively involved in both the Spanish and English churches at World of Pentecost in Burlington, North Carolina, where she is a youth team leader, praise singer, choir member, Sunday School teacher, van route driver, and Bible Quizzing coach.
She is in the process of finishing her Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Technology and also works full time as a lab tech for a medical device company.
Courtney Toliver is a fashion and beauty blogger from Tulsa, Oklahoma. She is currently a student at Tulsa Community College where she is pursuing a degree in business. She aspires to become an esthetician and to one day develop an all-natural skin care line.
Her passions include traveling, singing in church, and (of course!) shopping. She also loves reading, learning about different cultures, and spending time with her family. Courtney loves to meet new people and her main goals in life are to have a servant’s heart, and most of all, to be in God’s will in all that she does.
Elle officiates Bible Quizzing for the Texico District, consisting of youth from West Texas and New Mexico. She loves singing and playing the piano, enjoys all things scientific and nerdy, obsesses over nature and all its aesthetics, hiking, reading, meeting new people and hearing their take on life. She enjoys learning, exploring new places, reading, green tea and coffee, unique cafés, and shopping.
Elle is a young woman with eclectic tastes with three reigning passions: developing herself to be the best that she can be, living life to the fullest, and loving her God with everything.

She dedicates most of her time, energy, and devotion at her church, where her first, and most adored, commitment is in the music department. Guitar, among other interests including literature, science, and art, is closely linked with her ever-present desire to learn. She also appreciates nature and its relationship with solace. However, the Kingdom is her ultimate passion.
She strives to be an asset to the local and global face of Christ in any way she is able. Her future goals are to experience, grow, and continue in her current quest by learning to be the light.

Anyssa Hessler lives in Plymouth, Indiana where she works as a marketing analyst and serves as youth leader along with her husband Alec at The House of Prayer.
Anyssa enjoys making a mess in the kitchen, wandering new cities and treasure-hunting in thrift stores. When she isn’t in the kitchen, she can be found in a local hole-in-the-wall café with a hot mocha and good book.
As a lifestyle blogger, Anyssa has made it her mission to encourage creativity and originality in all aspects of life. With the help of the Lord, she hopes to spark the recognition of self-worth and capability of women through her writing.

Brooklyn Scott is originally from North Little Rock, Arkansas but now lives in Sacramento, California with her husband and miracle baby, Finley Cash.
Brooklyn holds an Associates of Arts degree and recorded a music album in 2013. She enjoys church, singing, thrifting, and spending quality time with family.
Her ultimate goal is to please God and to be the best that she can be at whatever she does while being an inspiration and light to everyone around her.
