Happy New Year, ladies!
It is the beginning of a fresh new year, which means NEW GOALS. Every year I have a list of several resolutions, but this year I am focusing on ONE goal at a time. I want to put my energy + time into one thing and really master it and then move on to another goal!
To start off, I am focusing on my health. I am so thankful that the Lord blessed me with great health and woke me up in my right mind. With that being said, I really want to focus on loving and taking care of myself, especially in the food category!
For once, my main focus on this health journey is not weight loss! I just want to feed my body foods that are not extremely processed and foods that will make me feel good, be good for my skin, and nourish my body.
I am ALL about balance, so I must say that while I am focusing on eating healthier, I still will indulge in Chick-Fil-A and such things from time to time. Balance is always key!
To get me started, I decided to start with filling my fridge with healthy groceries. I am unfortunately not a health guru, so I did my best when deciding what to buy. I really feel as time goes on I will find more healthy groceries to add to my list.
I am hoping these healthy groceries will help me to be more aware of my food choices and the ingredients in the foods I eat, and I also hope that it will give me more energy during the day!
I went shopping yesterday: here are a few things I picked up at Walmart. Is there a staple I missed that I should pick up next time? If so, leave me some tips in the comments!
