It’s been a longtime wish of mine to have my own library. My books are some of my most prized possessions, and every nook and cranny of my room seems to be filled with those extra volumes that just won’t fit in my bookcase. I’m sure those of you who are fellow bookworms can relate. The other day as I stepped over yet another stack of novels, I was reminded of how much I really want need that personal reading space. Of course, I then logged onto Pinterest to compile a plethora of ideas to organize . I came across several ideas that I can implement now, for the storage and display of my books. 2. Use Your Books as Décor
Books can be quite pretty, especially vintage ones. I think they are beautiful pieces to use to decorate. In my opinion, displaying titles that are meaningful to you is a way to let your personality shine through your décor!
3. Utilize an Unexpected Space
Storage in an empty fireplace? Brilliant! The good thing about books is that they can be easily stacked and stored in a variety of places. Look around your home, you just might find a surprising new place to store them.
I would be most content if my children grew up to be the kind of people who think decorating consists mostly of building enough bookshelves. -Anna Quindlen
