I think there’s something to be said about putting your best foot forward on the daily.
Whether it’s in your dressing habits, the language you use in conversations with coworkers, the friendly smiles you give to strangers in the grocery store, or the way you interact with your family.
Not that life is easy all the time, because we all know that it certainly is NOT, but when we do our best to BE our best in our everyday life, it serves to continually glorify Jesus in all things.
As daughters of the King, we should constantly strive to represent Him in all things — and yes, that includes dressing our best so that we can shine modesty and holiness into our world. The way we dress is not to bring attention to our personal style, fashion extremes, or “pentecostal-ism,” but to show our world that modesty for the sake of representing Jesus is a beautiful thing.
Let your eyes look directly ahead.
And let your gaze be fixed straight in front of you.
Watch the path of your feet.
And all your ways will be established.
